Well, the front office had mostly admitted up front that qualifying for the Majors Cup was a pipe dream at this point, but with the loss to the Gunners it's official. No one seemed to be able to put up points this weekend and that's been essentially the biggest problem in the Rose City since day one. Sometimes they're hot, sometimes they're not. With a little luck the boys in red have managed to stay near the top of the standings and will be competing in their first Playoff at the end of their first year. It's not exactly a BSL blowout (not yet) but it looks like a strong first year offering from the Flyers.
The final week of the Regular Season will feature a match versus Burud Town before heading into the postseason. They sit in the middle of the table at 7-11-3 and 24 points. It's not a season to be disrespected but Rose City should get the win here.
Rumors abound that the front office is in the midst of searching for some extra firepower for the Playoffs but we'll see how far those go.
