Week Thirteen: Lineup and Recap

After a long break in MLS play, week thirteen is here. Let's recap!

The Flyers currently sit in second after a heartbreaking 2-3 loss to Pennsylvania in week twelve. That was also the first week of Majors Qualifying so, even in second in the standings, the boys have some work to do. Still, with 24 points they seem to be in a comfortable position to make a playoff appearance  assuming nothing untoward happens in the meantime.

Week thirteen is against the Blues who lost the first meeting of the season 6-4. Still, Rose City hasn't put that many points on the board since then. Look for this to be a close match. Lineups are still tricky. Rose City dropped onetime captain Alejandro Moreno a week ago for lack of production and both Marvin Chavez and newly aquired Steven Beitashour will sit out while San Jose takes another week break. Marco Di Vaio has arrived in la métropole but won't be making his first MLS appearance for another week at least. Still, things look good.
